Alex Folzenlogen is a LPCC-S through the State of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board. Alex received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at The Ohio State University. She went on to earn her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Indiana State University.

Individual
Alex works with adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship stress, and emotional overwhelm. She provides a supportive, collaborative space to help clients process difficult experiences, build insight, strengthen coping skills, and move toward meaningful change. Her approach is trauma-informed and tailored to each client, drawing from evidence-based methods such as EMDR, CBT, DBT, and Solution-Focused Therapy.
Couples
Alex utilizes The Gottman Method to assess and address relationship issues. Couples learn to repair past hurts, communicate effectively, and reconnect physically and emotionally. They learn relapse prevention strategies for maintaining a healthy and intimate relationship.
Alex offers consultation for counselors pursuing independent licensure, providing a supportive space to process clinical work, strengthen skills, and grow with confidence in the field.
